Does Virgin Media Block IDrive online backup?
Since an extended intermittent outage a couple of weeks ago, my iDrive.com online backup has been failing every night, and I have also been able to access their website or log in to my online iDrive account, all other sites are fine. I checked my firewall settings and they were fine, I also disabled the firewall briefly and it made no difference. However, I downloaded and enabled a VPN and was then immediately able to access iDrive fine and run a backup without issues (without changing my geographical location). Does VM block iDrive as that seems like the only explanation that makes sense?
Help, some websites are blocked despite childsafe and virussafe off
Help, all of a sudden, some websites are blocked by Virgin Media, despite having both childsafe and virussafe off under online security. I tried turning on and off childsafe but it doesn't turn on or off, it stays off with the following error 'Sorry the changes you made were not saved, please try again'. For example, reddit.com and vimeo.com require refreshing several times before I can see their content. Some websites, for instance, protonvpn.com are completely obscured. So far I reset the hub and checked and smartphones and computers wired and wireless all have the same issues. Can you please sort this out for my account? Thanks
