Order a Volt sim but no sign of order
I have Virgin Media services for the past 2 years and my phone contract expires tomorrow. I don't need a new phone so thought it would be easier to get a sim only deal. I opened the Virgin Media app and handily enough, there was a deal for a Volt Sim with unlimited data for £15 a month, with the first 3 months free on a Black Friday deal. I tried to order the Volt Sim through the Virgin Media app which failed when putting in my previous address so I then ordered through the website on my laptop where the same deal was available. I then received a confirmation email with an order reference number from Virgin Media web team however, I have heard nothing since ordering. Order reference: CH2124753682. I have called both Virgin and O2 and neither have any record of this order number. Is there any way I can find out what has happened to the order?60Views0likes2CommentsNot eligible for Volt?
Hi there, I had my confirmation email back in October and my services activated after a slightly frustrating delay in the install process - but my MyO2 page says I’m not eligible for volt benefits, despite having an eligible VM and O2 package? I spoke to someone on live chat yesterday who assured me I’d have a specialist reach out over email within 24hours (now passed) but alas nothing. Good morning :) A few weeks ago, my service with Virgin Broadband started and early last week I got an email from O2 (who I have been a customer with for years) saying they have activated my Volt benefits. I can see I now have the increased data limit on my O2 account. I am yet to hear anything from Virgin about the extra benefits though. The update came from O2 because I had to manually prompt them about something (I was having trouble with the app) and thought to ask off the back of it. We have attempted to follow the guidance with the My Virgin Media app, but I'm stuck in a loop and I am unable to find a way to activate the benefits as mentioned. It could be that the address format isn't matching up correctly (it doesn't allow me to format them the same way for both O2 and Virgin) but I have read there is a way for this to be manually activated on Virgin's end. Hi Seem to be going round in circles getting Volt benefits applied to both my Virgin and my wife's o2 account - they have managed to add it to my o2 despite not asking for it on that account! We have messaged o2 through my wife's account and was told the request was being sent to their "dedicated team" to be dealt with in 5 days - that was 3 weeks ago and nothing! Like many others here I joined Virgin media (june 24 ) and have a broadband package along with a new o2 mobile contract. I’m getting the double data package on o2 but my fibre speed has not been doubled Every time I select get ‘volt benefits’ in the virgin media app it takes you to a broken page that doesn’t load. Hello, I have been an O2 customer for many years and also signed up for Virgin broadband in August last year. A couple of months ago, I linked my O2 account to my Virgin account to gain access to the Volt benefits for being a customer of both O2 & Virgin however I have not received my broadband speed upgrade to the next package. My O2 data has doubled as expected however my broadband remains on the M250 package instead of being upgraded. My wifi is also very slow upstairs and I would like to take advantage of the free Wifi pods from the Volt upgrade however I am unable to do so currently. Please can I have some assistance?
