Recording of Sky Arts film will not play
I recorded the film of The Who's 1970 Isle of Wight concert a couple of years ago on Sky Arts on our V6 box. I don't remember why I didn't record it on the HD channel. I recently tried to rewatch it but the box reported it could not be played because VM no longer shows Sky Arts. I hadn't noticed that channel had gone, but Sky Arts HD is still available. I assume this is a rights issue, but as Sky Arts is still present in HD format, and AFAIK always showed the same content as the SD channel. Why would my V6 box inhibit playing this recording? Hi, The power cable for my V6 box broke, the thin cable where it comes out of the power brick. I contacted Customer Services through the online chat on 18 December (as an aside the bot on the customer service chat is horrendously bad, the whole process took 40 minutes). Was told a new adapter kit would be with me in 3 to 5 working days and that I would receive an email when it was dispatched. The only emails I've received were regarding renewing my contract which I am somewhat loathe to do seeing as I currently cannot use my main box. Everytime I turn on the box I get this spam about 360. Under no circumstances do I want to run the horizon firmware. I am out of contract and as soon as this is forced onto us, I am jumping ship. All I do is watch TV and Record TV. I don't use any apps and I don't do anything on demand and I don't stream anything. Stop promoting this useless crap to me, and keep paying the TiVo license. Hello, I have noticed a problem with the fast forward function. Sometimes when fast forwarding, the programme skips forward 10-15mins. When you rewind it goes back to the original position. So the one way to get through that part of the programme is to watch it in real time. This doesn't happen all the time. Seems to happen more often during long, sport recordings. Particularly when in 4K. I have a V6 box. I haven't upgraded to 360 (don't want to lose recordings and series links, and don't like the look of the UI). Any ideas what is going wrong? Thank you. Hi, My Virgin V6 box is stuck on the welcome screen loop with a solid amber light on the power button. I have done the suggested reboot (holding + & power button and also - & power button) neither of them worked but i did get to a screen where there was an arrow pointing down at a box, but then went back to the welcome screen loop. You can hear a faint click just before the box starts its loop. Please can I get a replacement box as I assume this is a hardware fault.102Views0likes2CommentsPixelation
I’ve been seeing quite a bit of pixelation of late. Random channels at random times. Currently watching The Challenge (MTV 134) that was aired at 02:45 this morning (14/11/25). Hi, We have a problem with our TV service (on both V6 and TIVO boxes in that we lose channels and/or get pixelated pictures for a period of time - the same channels on both boxes at the same time, and approximately at the same time each night (early evening). I went to the web site to see if there were any issues; when I first log in, I get the message but if I press the "Still having issues?" button, I get the messages: What on earth is going on - any ideas?
