V6 Box solid amber light
Hi, My Virgin V6 box is stuck on the welcome screen loop with a solid amber light on the power button. I have done the suggested reboot (holding + & power button and also - & power button) neither of them worked but i did get to a screen where there was an arrow pointing down at a box, but then went back to the welcome screen loop. You can hear a faint click just before the box starts its loop. Please can I get a replacement box as I assume this is a hardware fault.39Views0likes2CommentsPixelation
I’ve been seeing quite a bit of pixelation of late. Random channels at random times. Currently watching The Challenge (MTV 134) that was aired at 02:45 this morning (14/11/25). Hi, hoping this is correct section of the forum. I've currently got 4 'boxes' - 3x v6 boxes with 360 system (in a recent upgrade virgin left the v6 boxes in but installed 360 software) and 1x Stream box. Im wondering if its possible to request of VM to change one of the V6 boxes to a Stream? (So id have 2x V6 and 2x Stream). Being honest, main reason is recent refurb of daughters bedroom means the v6 doesn't really have anywhere to go and a smaller box would be great. I'd have thought VM wouldn't have an issue giving me what is basically a downgrade (Stream can't record etc) but a bit googling doesn't seem to bring anything up.83Views0likes5CommentsIssue still unresolved after 4 days
Hi, We have a problem with our TV service (on both V6 and TIVO boxes in that we lose channels and/or get pixelated pictures for a period of time - the same channels on both boxes at the same time, and approximately at the same time each night (early evening). I went to the web site to see if there were any issues; when I first log in, I get the message but if I press the "Still having issues?" button, I get the messages: What on earth is going on - any ideas? Hi, I’ve noticed recently that when I watch programmes recorded on my TiVo via my V6, if the PIN is required it’s asking me for it at least twice before playing. I have never changed the PIN from the factory setting so I know I’m putting in the right PIN. Does this happen to anyone else and does anyone know why this is happening? Hi I received the email to upgrade my two v6 boxes to tv 360 I clicked the link and put in my name and email address but it then just took my to my account page and don’t seem to have any confirmation that the update request has gone though.
