Can I simply upgrade to 1g while on M500
I should have gone with Gig1 when I signed up, but I couldn’t justify the extra fiver at the time. Now I see the speed on M500 is fine—would upgrading to 900Mb be worth the extra £5? I don’t want to get an O2 SIM, as I have bad debt with them and probably wouldn’t pass their credit check anyway. So, I was planning to just pay the extra £5 for the 2-year contract, then try to get a deal or leave Virgin. My activation date was only yesterday. If I run into financial difficulties, can I downgrade during the contract? They seem to allow upgrades easily, but I haven’t seen much info about downgrading.
New Hub 5; no internet connection
Received a new Hub 5. Disconnected my hub 4, plugged in the new Hub after making all the connections and waiting for the lights to stop flashing and got the dreaded "no internet connection" warning on my devices. Rang the connection number, tapped 1, waited an hour. No change. Luckily I reconnected the old hub and it still works. I need internet to work. Any suggestions?
