Secondary email account locked
Hello, I got some invaluable help in this forum about 4 years ago so I am hoping that a VM agent will see my post as I am at the end of my tether! One of my secondary email account got locked on 9th October, exactly one week ago. I called Virgin Media the following day and was given an IT ticket number. Unfortunately, despite about 10 follow-up calls, I still haven't got a resolution. I was told the ticket had been escalated and that it would take up to 48hrs, then on another call, up to 5 "working days", and then tonight "another 5 days". I cannot wait another 5 days as I am expecting some very urgent emails into that mailbox. Please can someone suggest some ways to resolve this issue?17Views0likes2CommentsI need to re-set password on secondary email
I need to re-set the password on my secondary VM email account. I can't log in with it ... because I have forgotten it. the VM site tries to force me to login using the email that is used to access My Virgin Media account and change THAT password i.e. my primary email address - I don't want to change that password... Please advise.. TIA62Views0likes3CommentsSubsidiary E-mail, no longer able to access
I have had a second e-mail address for more than 2 decades, and on Saturday it suddenly stopped being accessible. I have gone to the primary account and it is no longer listed, none of the other secondary email addresses are showing either but they are not important. The one I no longer can access has my banking info and is used as a confirmation for transactions, there was no indication that the service was being removed, it just stopped working. I have read the forum and I apparently need to set up the secondary account to be accessed through a third party email, but as I can no longer even see the account even form the primary My Virgin Media Login I am unable to set this up. The Blueyonder email addresses both may wife and I have been using for over 25 years are primary reasons for using Virgin Media. A long time with the same email address means it is associated with many important applications and services, from banking to utilities and to suddenly lose access is frustrating to say the least. Having read through the posts on here there appears to be a way forward, but it needs assistance from a Moderator or a Virgin Media Employee to move forward. Please can I ask for this service, as I need to get access to my blueyonder.co.uk email address to change it to something that will not disappear over night. Thank you for your time.
