Unable to log in with VMO2 account
I am unable to log into My Virgin Media. My credentials get me into my O2 account, and let me log into the VMO2 account page. On the VMO2 ID account page, if I click to "Manage your products" I get a "Something went wrong" error. If I log into my VM account on the My Virgin Media page - I get sent to a blank screen and the URL states "error=server_error". If I try and log into the app, I get sent back to the login page. I know I am authenticating okay, because I am using my passkey, and if I don't log into my passkey it gives me a different unable to log in error. Support say they will look into this on the chat, but then never get back to me - please can anyone help?51Views0likes1CommentProblem with App and Virgin Media staff lying to me about “closing” an account
I first tried to become a Virgin Media customer on 14th of December 2025 but the saleswoman on phone opened me an account with a Sim. I had not requested that as I have a contract phone with 02. I asked for broadband, tv and landline. Got broadband, tv and SIM. After hours of calls on 19th December, the account was “cancelled” I got compensation for her fraudulent nonsense. Went to 02 shop on December 20th and ordered the Virgin Media package I wanted and originally asked for. I’ve had bills for SIM card account, which she had used a version of my name and a different email, similar to mine. Rang up. Said they would “close” original account( even though it’s supposed to be closed. It was installed yesterday. My problem now is I cannot access the App as it still contains details from original order. I was on phone to six people yesterday. The final guy said he has “closed” original account and it should be sorted today. It’s not. He also said I might have to use another email but I can’t do that either. I’ve uninstalled, reinstalled and it just shows old “closed” account details. Can anyone help me83Views0likes3Comments"Something has gone wrong on our side"
I recently joined virgin broadband and when i went "manage my settings" primarily turn parental control off its comes up with the following, no matter what app i try or if i try on my phone or PC. For note the WIFI was installed on the 17/11/25 At first i thought it was just a one night thing but nearly a week later with no service outages i dont understand ( wifi is working fantastically well in term of speeds)142Views0likes6CommentsCan't access settings or My Virgin Media.
So firstly, I have tried to get this sorted over the phone and it got escalated to the backend engineers. They called me once and said the problem has been solved, it has not been solved. Since the 6th of November (When I had VM broadband installed at my property), I have not been able to access the settings or properly log into my account. It presents me with this message on google chrome: """ Bad Request Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit. """ And this message on the IOS app: "Oops, looks like something's gone wrong on our side. Please try again" And inspecting the element on both Edge and Google chrome I can see that it sent out a GET and got a error code 400 bad request. I have tried clearing my cookies and logging on however that also hasn't worked. I have a little more control in general on the My VM IOS app than on PC, as I can at least see the "Your package" tab and the service status. Everything breaks when I go into Settings--> Broadband--> Manage Virgin Media Settings. That's when it gives me the error message beginning with "oops". Any help would be appreciated although I feel this is a deeply technical bug on Virgin Media's side as opposed to the client side.232Views0likes7CommentsLooping trying to access VirginMedia/O2
Hi, Hopefully an easy fix but I am going around in circles. Trying to access MyVirginMedia, put in my Blueyonder email address and existing password (known good, re authenticated to email on my phone) but it comes up as "Your password wasn't verified. Please try again." Possible man in the middle (reported on X) as apparently it wants an email adddress (*3 ds in the original website, not my typo) Tried a password reset out of interest and the page just hangs. Have used 2 different devices and 2 different browsers on each , no change to outcome. Kind Regards172Views0likes4CommentsChanging the way you sign in to My Virgin Media

Cheers Togsy Hello, We’re making changes to the way you sign in online to My Virgin Media, as part of our commitment to keep our online spaces safe and secure. Instead of using your current email address to sign in to your account, you’ll need use your Virgin Media Mail email address. This will take effect automatically from 30/06/2025. You’ll still use your current password. Kind regards, The Virgin Media team6.7KViews0likes25Commentsmy virgin media app/o2

I decided to add the Sky Sports and TNT Sports offer (£39 a month for 24 months) via the My Virgin Media app 6 days ago and received an e-mail confirmation with my order number. However, the channels have not been added to my 360 box nor was I told how long it would take.Solved112Views0likes1Comment
