Not able to view recordings and live TV on TV Go app
I am currently getting an error message when trying to view recordings on the Android app for my devices. When I try to view live TV I get a message saying I have too many devices (which I don't). When I view my device settings it says I have none then briefly flashes up that I have 3, then it changes to none again! I have two Pads which until the final day of the 4th Test against India were able to log into Sky Sports via their app clicking onto the VM icon, I have logged out of all devices, cleared the cache, reinstalled the app, sorted out VM02 password, but the Pads are simply not able to move from the Sky login page to the VM02 page as the link seems to be broken? As if you click on the VM icon it tries to load but does not move, any ideas, is it an Android OS issue or something glitching between the VM and Sky systems? Hi all, I'm posting on behalf of my stepdad who has had recurring issues with the Sky Sports app for about a week now. I've tried repeatedly to uninstall the app - remove its data and caches, to no avail. As someone quite comfortable with computers, I am truly baffled. The Virgin Media TV app works absolutely fine. I get up the Sky Sports app and go to watch live sports (tennis for example) and am immediately brought to the Sky sign in page where there is an option to log in with Virgin TV UK as he's done so in the past and instead get a hapless loading bar that never loads a thing. It's stopped my elderly stepdad from watching his beloved cricket and tennis anywhere that isn't the big TV in the family home. Any advice or tips (beyond the obvious) would be much appreciated as I'd really like to get this resolved for him ASAP. It's really important to him and therefore really important to me! For the last couple of months the TV Go app has not played recordings. It did use to, I'm not aware of any changes to my home set up or mobile since it last worked. I can control the TV, set recordings, delete recordings, but it when i try play a recording it loops for about 10 seconds then says I'm not on the same network. I've searched the forums, seen lots of people with similar issues over last year or two, bit never spotted a resolution.1.6KViews1like11Comments
