I still can't see anything, Sky have given me a good offer though which I began the process of, but then they are at the mercy of Open reach who are playing silly games and over 4 weeks to do the necessary cabling from pavement to house. So as it stands it's still all very much up in the air whilst I await an intervention from someone, be that Sky, Open reach or Virgin. I did manage to get through to retentions at Virgin over the telephone, but I expect as I'm not 30 days from expiry yet so their offer simply wasn't anywhere near what I'm paying now and promised to increase twice over 2 years so if anyone is willing to negotiate please get in touch. Thankyou Re: Options I'll keep checking but every time I check online or in the app I get the same response of this page isn't available right now so it would seem I don't currently have any options or incentives other than 350 meg Broadband becoming over £60 a month in November 😔 Options Hello My contract expires on November 24th. It was for 18 months. I'm looking to renew. But when I click on upgrade my package every time it says "Oops that page isn't available right now". Tried retentions but they aren't as cheap as signing up for a new deal. My question is when can I renew for a fair price please and when would upgrade options be available to me? Thankyou SolvedRe: Leaving..Or not? Thank you for the interesting range of responses. Rest assured. Heads will roll.. Re: Leaving..Or not? Hi. So id like to challenge the 3 months termination fees based on 4 recorded outages over my contract period. Does anyone know a faster route to the correct team so I can negotiate because it took me ages last time with no direct number. Thank you Re: Leaving..Or not? Poet Leaving..Or not? Good morning all. Mt contract ends in November. I'm currently paying a little over £31 a month for 350meg broadband. (The phone line never transpired in all this time but that's another story). Be Fibre come a knocking claiming 900 Meg for £29 a month and offering to pay the remainder of my contract. I call Virgin retentions (finally, that's a process isn't it?) who said nothing is available for me to compete with Be's offer- yet. But something might come up in October. Where should I go with this? If I wait can I guarantee a favourable deal to what I'm paying at present? U Switch currently offer 250 meg with Virgin for a penny under 24 pounds a month so there are deals out there. I should stress I'm happy to stay with Virgin. But Be Fibres offer (and Sky's) are superior. Both alternatives are full Fibre too. Any advice gratefully received. Chris Compensation payment. Hello Last Thursday the 17th April at 13:34 I contacted Virgin media call centre because I'd received an email apology for loss of service earlier in the month. After much conversation, the advisor closed my concern with a promise of £20 credit applied to my current bill, which is due to come out on the 2nd of next month. The app now shows no credit from what I can see to adjust my bill. Could I ask if a moderator could look into this and see if the credit has been applied please or advise on how to proceed. It's a little difficult to call them over the next few days due to my work. Thankyou Chris Re: The ethernet fast port on Hub 5X Yes I'm getting much faster speeds with WiFi from my hub to my TV. But everyone seems to advocate Ethernet being more than stable enough for what the TV needs. Re: The ethernet fast port on Hub 5X Thankyou. But it is working at 100 with my Smart TV connected to it. Is that normal?
