On mine, it switches to previous channel watched. A second press toggles back to the original. Also, my "back" button does nothing when watching live TV. Re: Delete ntlworld Why don't you just not log into it and forget about it. Optionally, you could put an auto-reply telling people their messages will not be read or actioned. Re: Our main email address locked That's interesting Stevemids, are you saying you are no longer a VM customer - yet still use their email? Re: WEB MAIL AND ACCOUNT LOGIN Even if VM's change had worked, to introduce this without warning or explanation would be unacceptable and beyond the pale. However, it is clear this this revamp has not worked it is therefore beyond unacceptable and beyond beyond-the-pail. The old adage "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". With Virgin it's: "if it ain't broke, break it". Re: Subtitles on Virgin 360 mailto:.@mikebhm Similar to you, I like subs for most things but not for live stuff eg sport or news. Sport especially there is a big delay between the action and the words. So, I have 2 profiles - one for subs permanently on the other not Re: Subtitles on Virgin 360 @ Sankj For those that are profoundly deaf, you set the subtitles option on - it will then stay on for all programmes and stations until turned off. Re: Virgin media making it impossible to downgrade my package Unfortunately VM is only interested in upselling. They are experts in fobbing off and pretending not to understand. I'm not sure what the opposite of "can do attitude" is but Virgin excel in this. Branson advocated putting oneself in the customer's shoes to genuinely understand and solve their problems, to generate loyalty and satisfaction. I've neither experienced or heard of this attitude in modern times - big shame. (no subject) Yes Bob, I have same problem. I've had this several times. Also, I think this has happened playing a recording. Re: TV360 standby mode It does not go off, it merely goes into sleep mode. Even if the red light is showing, it will (should) record scheduled recordings. If it is not doing this - there is a fault.
