Any word on what's changed or fixed ? I noticed on the stats page now it properly shows docsis 3.0 and 3.1 channels for download and upload Re: Constant "no number calls" since moving to IP Telephone from landline (Home) (Resolved) I just wanna thank Chris Myers I feel like without all of his hard work making formal complaints and keep on at them this would never be fixed. Thanks mate I appreciate it , and yes it seems fixed now 🙂 Re: Constant "no number calls" since moving to IP Telephone from landline (Home) (Resolved) Nice to hear they might have fixed it 🙂 i just rebooted , cleared phone log , lets see Re: Constant "no number calls" since moving to IP Telephone from landline (Home) (Resolved) Is this thread still going LMAO 🙂 As I said 8 months ago this will not be fixed until the hub 6 is released. Virgin tech support = shambolic and that's being generous I do not blame any individual Vrigin employee, I'm sure they are trying best, but the system is not fit for purpose. Re: Constant "no number calls" since moving to IP Telephone from landline (Home) (Resolved) I'm just a realist lol this has been ongoing for over a year. Virgin are useless, they will never fix this clearly, even the media covering this and complaints to the regulator have done nothing. They do not care Re: Constant "no number calls" since moving to IP Telephone from landline (Home) (Resolved) Lets face is this is never gonna be fixed until hub 6 is out 🙂 Only real solution is try a different phone. Re: Constant "no number calls" since moving to IP Telephone from landline (Home) (Resolved) I'm saying though also, I have gone the formal complaint route too, and nothing is done. Hence I'm suggesting try get the media involved, I feel like Chris's time is being wasted. I hope I'm wrong but I don't think I am. The only thing I get is bounced back and forth between the escalation team and tech support and tech support answer is to send a engineer out for the 10x time to replace the hub 5 then the issue remains, cause as I have clearly stated months ago , the issue is a bug in the Hub 5 , VOIP and certain brand phones. Virgin have known about this since the beta test !! Hence they would not allow anyone with a voice line on the beta test !!!!!!!!!! I was even told this by virgin tech on phone (when I got to speak to someone who knew actually whats going on) when I was having this service installed and I wanted the hub 5. So basically options are , have the hub 5 with 2.5gbit ethernet (yes I like to get 140mb/s download speed) and put up with these fake calls or go back to hub 4 and be limited with 1gbit ethernet and lose 40mb/s download speed (not fit for the top package) Re: Constant "no number calls" since moving to IP Telephone from landline (Home) (Resolved) If I get time this week I'm gonna contact Marc at ISPreview and see if he can make this a media issue. I'm sure as soon as the bigwigs at Virgin start to see negative media they will start making the right decision here and get it fixed or at least offer all of us some compensation. I'm pretty sure there are people here who are on virgin business and all these fake missed calls are actually affecting their business! I mean for me its just annoying that my call log is constantly full of this , but for a business this could actually be hitting their bottom line, if staff are missing proper missed calls etc. I mean its sad it has to come to this but what is the other option? Chris has tried to make formal complaints and that road, and still, nothing is done !!!!!! We have to face it this has gone on long enough. I don't see why I should be forced to downgrade my internet from 1.2gbit back to 80mbit VDSL 2+ cause I'm forced to get Virgin to release me from my contract. If cityfibre was in my road today this is the path I would take Re: Constant "no number calls" since moving to IP Telephone from landline (Home) (Resolved) Jem101 hits the nail on the head , could not agree more if I wrote that post myself.
