ContributionsMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsRe: New Contract and cancelling Thanks just got off chat to retentions they don't want to know so its goodbye Virgin after all these years New Contract and cancelling Yesterday I went on chat to discuss a new contract as mine was coming to the end and Sky had offered me a good deal so I thought to see what Virgin new contract would be they said everything would be the same as the old contract but a increased price and a 24 month contract so I agreed to the new contract, to remove all the hassle of changing supplier. Then today when I had the new documents the Netflix plan was changed from Netflix standard to Netflix with adds so if I want to remove the adds as I had before I have to pay an extra £7.99 a month. I contacted virgin they said that was there new contract NOW but i was not told that before I agreed the new contract so i have now decided to go with Sky as you cannot trust Virgin. I am still in the 14 days cancellation period as anybody cancelled with in this period and how to do it any help welcome. Thanks in advance Out Of Sync I was having a lot of problems with sound dropouts and lip sync I use a Sonos Beam for sound and I read a article on this on the internet and someone suggested to get a CEC Adapter to stop the issues so I invested in one at £10.99 from amazon and now it has cured the problems I was even working on the follow content on the audio settings and the Cec adapter plugged into the TV and then the HD cable from the Virgin 360 box plugged into the adapter the only problem it takes a moment to connect to the TV I hope this helps. Hi Asha I haven't cancelled my sim but I was paying £29.32 a month for the sim so I contacted O2 and they have now reduced my sim to £15.00 a month that I am happy with.
