Any one having problems with logging into the connect app? Today it's asking to connect to my home,sign in with a virgin media account,tap it and it brings up a page asking for my email input no password as usual ,so I sign in with email and it sends a verification email . I verify it and it sends me back to the same page ? Hi Ok,so I firstly tried the method in the video where the remote makes a very loud beeping sound ,all functions worked but not volume/ mute I then tried the codes ,everyone of them ,not one was successful in pairing the remote and TV I've tried the 0999 and the TV does turn off pressing channel up but still the vol/mute doesn't work I'm stuck now,I'm on my third V6 Box and have not had this problem with the previous 2 ,and I still have the same TV Think I'll request a new remote but thanks very much for your assistance36Views0likes0CommentsRe: Can't pair new RC with new v6 box
Hi in menu - help - settings - pair remote that method is what it says . and when followed it comes up with remote is paired with V6 ? So are you saying they are the wrong instructions? I'm working through newapollos instructions and so far getting the same result ,volume and mute button not working,having had 2 V6 boxes before this and had no problems pairing I find it hard to understand why it's not working fully ,same TV as well ,I might have a faulty remote which needs replacing I don't know49Views0likes1CommentRe: Can't pair new RC with new v6 box
Hi Yeah I swapped the batteries over for new On the V6 in settings the instructions are Press and hold clear and TV on remote until the light flashes green twice Press thumbs down 3x then ok The led will flash green twice press ok and the led will turn off The remote is now in IR mode , A message comes up saying ,the remote is paired with the V6 Nothing like the instructions you have kindly supplied72Views0likes0CommentsCan't pair new RC with new v6 box
Hi all I had a replacement V6 box fitted yesterday,works fine ,and a new remote ,but using it last night I noticed the volume control wasn't working, I unpaired the remote and followed the instructions in the settings to pair the remote with the V6 it seemed successful giving me the message it had paired successfully,but the volume button still wasn't working,I've tried another twice this morning but still no luck .
