In case anyone here is in a similar situation, I've just been told by one of the team on here that if I renew, I should then be able to add Netflix Standard (Ad-free) for an additional £4.99 - while I'm still deeply unhappy that VM see fit to misrepresnt/lie about the renewal offer, that at least provides clarity on what I should get if I decide to renew..... Coming to the end of my contract and I've been offered a renewal including TNT Sports (hooray!) but no mention of Netflix at all in the documents - this is despite the offer stating "Choose this deal and keep your current Virgin Media plan without losing anything" - pretty unambiguous wording, but the contract that VM have sent does not reflect this offer... Please can someone check whether the contract would still include Netflix and if so, will it be Netflix Standard (as I currently have and so would expect to keep) or will it be the reduced Netflix with Ads?.... Hi Gareth - please could you look into this - the phrase "Choose this deal and keep your current Virgin Media plan without losing anything" is pretty unambiguous, yet the contract documents make absolutely no mention of Netflix (I currently have Netflix Standard included in my package) - I'd be happy to renew on the terms offered, but I don't want to lose my Netflix option (or have to pay extra to keep the same level of service)... I've been offered a renewal including TNT Sports but no mention of Netflix at all - despite the offer stating "Choose this deal and keep your current Virgin Media plan without losing anything" - pretty unambiguous wording, but the contract that VM have sent does not reflect this offer - this is dodgy on VM's part from a legal perspective. 2. No-one seems to be able to clearly tell me whether I'd get the same Netflix Standard I currently have or if it would be downgraded to the 'with Adverts' version - I was told on chat that VM no longer include the Standard version in any of their packages, yet I can see a number of packages on offer that do include it.... Further to this I've just been on chat with someone else who has confirmed that renewal will drop to Netflix with Adverts as that's all VM now offer in the current bundles and that if I want a better package I'd have to deal with Netflix directly - I pointed out that their offer to "Choose this deal and keep your current Virgin Media plan without losing anything" amounted to fraud and they've now gone very quiet - I'll update if I get any further (which I doubt)... I'm in the same situation - renewal includes TNT Sports, but there's absolutely no mention of Netflix in the paperwork - I've spent mosty of the afternoon trying to find out whether I'll keep my exisiting NetflixStandard, if I'll be downgraded or if they'll remove it completely - all I managed was to get someone on chat who offered me a worse deal than I am being offered at £20 more....it's shocking that VM see this level of customer service as acceptable....
