As it is our moving date has yet to be confirmed so I have got to get my moving and installation dates changed this week once I have confirmation of the moving date (may only give it a day or two as don't want to not give sufficient notice to VM so may have to cancel the cut off and installation in a day or two). Thanks again Moving house - The specifics of what happens Hi I was due to move to a new house on Friday 28th and this may be moved back a week. In the meantime I wanted to check the specifics of what happens to aspects of my VM account please. At present my account is still "live" with a disconnection date for my old address of next Friday the 28th with installation at my new address booked for Saturday the 29th. If we don't get confirmation of house contract exchange tomorrow then clearly I will have to adjust those dates accordingly. I have kept my old address "live" so that I can still watch tv via tv anywhere with VM on browsers (we are currently at my mother-in-laws). So, I have been given a new account number for the new property which as I understand is the norm. My concern is that I will lose access to my e-mail accounts with VM as they are used obviously for logging in to VM anywhere with Sky etc. Do the e-mail accounts get transferred to the new VM account and if not is there any way to retain them as it seems pretty dumb to have to start from scratch with e-mail every time a person moves location. Also, when I do move if I do have to start with new e-mail addresses how long before they are recognised for tv anywhere, be it on VM's sites or Sky's ? We tend to have background computer screens logged in to watch sports whilst watching other stuff on tv and intend to carry on this way at our new place and are wondering how long before we can resume this practice after moving. Finally, we were advised to take our tv360 box to our new place so currently have it in storage in preparation. If the account number is changed will the box recognise the account/does the technician who installs VM at our new place have to change anything to get it working etc ? Thanks for any help and advice with this. Trying to make the move as smooth as is possible (not worked so far but that isn't a VM issue yet lol) and wanted to try and preempt/be prepared for any potential issues so advice on the above would be greatly appreciated. Re: Log in to Sky Sports failing I had this issue re-appear this morning but only on one of my pcs (I have VM/Sky on two pcs at the same time usually). I managed to get it working again but only after checking the browser (chrome) and updating it to the latest version, clearing the data and cache and then re-starting the pc. Hope it is working for you soon Impyimp Re: Log in to Sky Sports failing The humour in claiming to check for the "latest" status on that link, which states an estimated time for resolution from yesterday, is not lost. Have found the service status fix times to be laughably useless. The last ones for this area a few weeks ago had a fix time of 7pm that just kept moving to the next available day..for two weeks at which point the engineers left and the service then failed to work at all for 3 days until an engineer came back to fix the solution the previous engineers had put in place (basically blocking our house and a few others completely). Must admit I too find it rather misleading to have "Go to solution" marked on my post when as mentioned the "solution" is actually just the confirmation there is a fault number now attached to this issue. I hope the "solution" claim is removed as until this issue is fixed for everyone it is safe to say there has not been a solution. Log in to Sky Sports failing Hi All I am trying to access Sky Sports via Tv on the go by logging in on a browser (Chrome and Firefox). Working fine yesterday but today I click log in and if lucky get the choose VM option and enter the e-mail and password and it then goes back to the main sky sports page and nothing is logged in. Most times it doesn't even go to the log in page but just goes back to the main sky sports page. I have tried two different pcs, two different browsers (chrome and firefox) and have tried clearing the cache, cookies etc and made sure the browsers are fully up to date. Any other suggestions I can try or is this another issue with Sky Sports (like the one a few days ago) that they will eventually fix. Thanks SolvedRe: Recordings won't delete So this morning I wake up to find the recordings that wouldn't delete have finally gone. No idea how as there has been no update and they were still showing when I went to sleep last night but somehow they have finally gone despite not doing anything at my end.
