Blocking is no use because they don't use the same number. They must have software that changes the incoming number every time. If you try and phone it back, it comes back number not recognised. Spam phone calls Some spam company has got hold of my O2 mobile number. I am currently receiving around 8 calls a day, all from different numbers (physing) some come up as mobile, some regional. I do not answer them, but every time the number is different, so blocking is pointless. I am now not answering any calls that are not in my contacts, working on the theory that if it is genuine, they will leave a message. Is there anything that I can do to stop these calls? Re: Email Issues. My issues have been sorted. Issue 1, being unable to log onto my web mail, was sorted by setting up another email address and password and using this to log onto the web based email. This also necessitated using that password on all my mail apps. The second issue of not being able to send to the charity emails, was resolved also by level 2 tech support, not sure what they did. But all good at the moment Re: Email Issues. Forgot to add, when I say none of the volunteers can send emails to our ***@charityemail.org.uk, that is anyone who has a virgin or ntl world email account. Email Issues. Is anyone having email issues. I am having two issues. (1) I can't sign into virgin mail online, from the virgin "My virgin media", once logged on, when I click on email, I get a Forbidden message, so can't get to the email. The only way I can see my emails is through my apple mail app. (2) - The second one is an issue when sending emails. I am Chair of a charity, but myself and none of my volunteers can send emails to our charity email addresses and if I log onto our charity email account via outlook or directly, you can't send an email to the virgin email addressees. Yet google mail is working fine. So there is something going on 🙂 Re: O2 data is rubbish Stats are all well and good, but do not reflect reality. I live 1.5 miles outside of Salisbury city centre, I don't even get 1 bar of 3g outside my house and have to use wi fi calling inside. But my point is, even in the city centre, my phone shows 3 bars of 4g, I can make calls, but can't use any data, my wife is on the same contract and her phone is the same. I have experienced the same in other areas, so my conclusion is, the data is being restricted on the network, probably due to too many users. O2 data is rubbish Since O2 was amalgamated with Virgin, the data coverage has gone down hill. It is not uncommon to have 4g which allows calls, but you can't even load google maps. This I believe is because the O2 network is not robust enough for the number of customers now using it. Has anyone else experience the data coverage depreciating. Re: Constant Red Light on Hub 3 and wi fi dropping Thank you Daniel for all your help. Had a text that a replacement Hub is on its way Robert Re: Constant Red Light on Hub 3 and wi fi dropping Thanks, just spent 30 mins talking to virgin media support. They told me to check the cables, then said the red light is nothing to worry about and they will monitor for 48 hours and get back to me. I explained I had reset the hub, which they could see, but still insisted the red light is nothing to worry about. Constant Red Light on Hub 3 and wi fi dropping Wi Fi keeps dropping, have checked all cables, Reset Hub several times, tried virgin support on 150, couldn't speak to anyone, promised to send a link to my phone, which never arrived. The hub is in exactly the same position it has been for 5 years with no issues, it has just started to show the red light and poor wi fi coverage. What is the solution 🙂
