Not sure if your engineers were on the case, or if it was a temporary glitch, but all sorted for now. Thank you for your help with this. Re: Landline not ringing and going straight to voicemail Yes I'm using a hub 5. No, calls don't come through. They go straight to Virgin Media voicemail. Re: Landline not ringing and going straight to voicemail Hi, How do I reset the hub? I do have a dial tone on the handset and can make outgoing calls. Re: Landline not ringing and going straight to voicemail Hi, Thanks for the response. I've rebooted my hub, no difference. I don't have an alternative handset I can use. Landline not ringing and going straight to voicemail Since yesterday my landline is not ringing when incoming calls are received, they go straight to virgin voicemail. Everything was working fine until yesterday. Any ideas? I can make calls out as normal. Re: Port forwarding on hub 5 It's working now. It was upnp that needed to be turned on. Re: Port forwarding on hub 5 EMBY server is on my Synology DS218 NAS Port forwarding on hub 5 Are there any clear instructions on setting this up that actually work? I can connect fine to my device (EMBY server) locally but when I try and connect externally I get an 'Unable to reach server error'. SolvedWill a new router change existing IP addresses Hello, A really basic question I'm afraid. I don't really understand routers etc. I'm upgrading to Gig1 fibre and a new hub (hub 5?) is being sent on Tuesday. My question is, when I reconnect everything, will the hub change the IP addresses used on my existing equipment? Such as laptop, Firestick, Nvidia shield, smart plugs, google nest etc. Or are the IP addresses that they use determined by the actual equipment itself? For example my laptop is connected to my Shield via the existing hub with ethernet. I realise I will probably have to log them onto the new router with a new WIFI code, Does that make sense? Solved
