Think I need the activation email I have been told twice would come within 24hrs. (Apologies for duplicate...my first reply did not appear when I looked later so made this one, and then first reply appeared!) Re: Mega bundle including netflix. Do I cancel my existing Netflix account? Thanks. I have done that and get:- "Dont miss out:50+series and films are coming soon. Update payment. We couldn't process your payment. No worries. It happens. Lets update your payment and get you back to watching" Think I need the activation email I have been told twice would be coming within 24 hrs! Re: Mega bundle including netflix. Do I cancel my existing Netflix account? Thanks Vikki, I contacted Support through the chatline to ask about this. I was assured: "I have completed the form you and want to let you know that you will receive an email from us within 24 hours to activate your Netflix account" . That was four days ago and it still hasn't come. I have been checking Junk etc. That is two failures to send the activation, first after starting the new contract and second after the above follow up. Both times I was assured my package includes Netflix with ads. I am beginning to think there is something wrong with my account that is preventing this happening. Can you help? Thanks Mega bundle including netflix. Do I cancel my existing Netflix account? Old thread but I am in same situation. New contract has removed Netflix Standard and added Netflix with ads. I was told I would receive an activation email but this hasn’t happened yet. What I have received from Virgin is an email telling me they have removed my method of payment for Netflix. No mention of Netfix with Ads or activation. This worries me. How long after new contract setup does the Netfix with Ads take to come? Thanks for any help. Re: Picture break up for about an hour earlier, OK now. Sounds like same problem as widely reported in this thread: TV breaking up [Fault raised - F011955880] | Virgin Media Community - 5661504 Picture break up for about an hour earlier, OK now. Earlier this evening we started to watch a programme that had started recording about 15 mins previously. The picture was totally broken up. We switched to live TV and that was also broken up. I restarted the Tivo 6 box, but it made no difference. We then watched a streaming programme for about an hour and it was fine. Then tried to play the original programme that had recorded an hour previously and it was still broken up. Then I recorded something new and it played back fine and live TV was (and is) also fine. Old recordings also seem to be OK. So it looks like there was a temporary signal problem for about an hour, which has now cleared itself. I just ran the on line diagnostics and it said there was a problem connecting to the TV and wanted me to restart router etc. This made no sense to me as streaming was fine and Settings > Network status said it was connected with excellent signal. Is it more likely that the picture breakup was a temporary problem at Virgin's end or with our box? Thanks Re: Subtitles on Virgin 360 Thanks both. Two good alternatives to the V6 dedicated button. Subtitles on Virgin 360 I see the new 360 remote does not have a dedicated subtitles button, and turning on subtitles is done in the Settings. Is there a way to turn subtitles on and off quickly with Voice Control? I always use subtitles for dramas but not for sport and documentaries ....I don't want to have to go to Settings to turn on and off each time. Thanks Is a V6 box converted to 360 identical to a new 360 box As title, is a supplied-from-new Virgin 360 box, the same piece of hardware as a V6 box converted to Virgin 360? If different, are the many problems being reported mainly with one or the other? Are there any advantages to a supplied from-new-360 box, eg more storage? Thanks SolvedRe: Does anyone like their TV 360? Thanks for all the replies, especially this one. There is so much negativity I really wanted more info on the plus side and this gives it.
