Re: Constant dropped packets at fixed intervals Read in another thread it is caused by an amp going down somewhere in the chain We do have one of these boxes in the house by the modem plugged into the mains Re: Constant dropped packets at fixed intervals Re: Constant dropped packets at fixed intervals Actually got round to restarting the router at about 5pm yesterday but as you can see dropouts still happening at a regular interval. Hidden my ip address so hopefully the graphic can remain this time Assuming I need an engineer, anytime on a Friday is best for me Constant dropped packets at fixed intervals Noticed the graph showing regular dropped packets over the last few days if not weeks, pic attached from today Gone back to 19 March and the second pic is when it started happening regularly Can anyone at VM explain what is going on ? Re: How do i access my virgin media box and my recordings when i'm away? understood, no use to me as the recordings will happen when I am away, will have to wait for catchup Re: Broken Omni Box Cover Had the same issue and they wanted to charge to come out and fix so I just left it Re: How do i access my virgin media box and my recordings when i'm away? Apologies to op hijacking the thread, also interest in this. I have a V6 box and am away this weekend and would not mind watching recording in the evening, rather the waiting until I am back next week. What TV Control does allow for, with a TiVo/V6, is in-home downloading & streaming of recordings. And if you download, you can usually then view offline. Assuming the V6 has made the recording on Saturday, how do I watch it on Sunday at the other end of the country ?
