ContributionsMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsRe: Can you ring VM and ask for same engineeer that set you up on 360 Sounds like you have lost your 'normal' TV signal through your roof aerial. Your cheapest first solution is to purchase a replacement co-ax cable, which is just the one that every TV uses via their roof aerial. If you havbe a lovely hardware shop take the short one in for them to give you the same one. Otherwise Amazon will be your stop. Re: U channels A recent announcement told viewers that U channels would be diaappearing from the channel guide and should be accessed from the menu. There are indeed on the VM menu, and on my smart TV apps, but they remain on the channel guide (and thus recordable). So it''s all fine I am just puzzled. Doc AS Re: U channels Thank you. I seem to have implemented the changes before Virgin did and all is now okay. I suspected they had been forced on us by U to mean we had to watch the interminable adverts. I mean you could go to the shops during the ad breaks. I see 1701 tells us we can FF - let's hope so! U channels I saw the notice about "U" channels access changing (why?) and did the registering thing successfully. However, if I click the 'app' the screen goes black nothing doing. What is occurring? Re: Can't get into TV GO app Similarly, was trying to watch the last session of the last day of the test match and we get this new signin backup e-mail come back later nonsense. Fortunately the memsahib was in merciful mood and I was allowed the house telly. Subsequently had to fiddle about 'linking' VM and O2 accounts on 3 devices but seems okay now. Boxes and Wires Good afternoon On my bedroom wall I have the above setup. The box on the right goes out the wall and has a cable connected to the router. Fine. It also has a wee metal junction box hanging off the side attached to nothing. The box on the left sprouts a co-ax cable which ends unattached to anything behind the radiator. Qs - can i remove the horrid little box and the going-nowhere cable? You can also see my rather nifty indoor/outdoor slipper. DocAS Re: TNT Sports removed from package Hi Carley I too have just renewed my Maxit package and been informed TNT is no longer included. From above it looks like this can be restored when you send me the e-mail I have clearly missed out on! Many thanks. Doc AS Re: U Drama pixellating Checking service statusthere was a TV fault reported. I ticked the 'send me a text when it's fixed' box, which never happened but the fault stopped being reported and the channel was back. So all was well, if not efficient! Re: U Drama pixellating Thank you. Struck by brainwave, I tuned in to U-Drama (what a silly name) via TV Anywhere on my iPad and lo! Truly, Clegg and Entwhistle are clear and uninterrupted. Ergo, the fault is particular to my box/TV combo. I shall lokk at service status but I think it is engineer time... AS U Drama pixellating Good morning U Drama has started pixellating with choppy sound. No other channel affected. Such a pity as we love the full re-run of "Last of the summer wine", but it's unwatchable. Any ideas well-informed folk? Solved
