Re: No acknowedgement of Cancellation The red line marks the cease being actioned. Finally! Re: No acknowedgement of Cancellation The CEO complaints team called and confirmed of course you can cancel by letter - it's in the T&C's. This is strategically purposeful without individual fault. The retentions team are targetted a certain way. The complaints team another. But it means VM can collect more cash so finance is happy. Re: 20 years of being a customer, 3 hours of webchat, I’m outta here I'm in a similar situation - community fibre was available so I signed with them. Got Virgin to match it 18 months ago so I could use the Virgin Line as a backup as I had no idea of community fiber would be a reliable provider & we both work at home. I'd have kept the line at the £28 a month for 1Gbps that I got it for, but the battle over every renewal made me give up. Rather stick with community fiber who just have cheaper retail pricing and no battling. Hyperoptic now also available so they can be my backup, or 4/5g cell I then tried to cancel and got the run around, despite following the T&C's. Complaints office dealt with it nicely, within 2 hours actually. No acknowedgement of Cancellation I have written to VM to cancel my broadband service. I have a copy of the letter that was sent via registered mail to the address in the contract & website. I have proof of postage. The cancellation has not been acknowledged. I then contacted VM via WhatsApp to be told that I cannot cancel my services over letter - despite that being stated on your website and the contract I had signed with you. Could you please action the cease & credit for the incorrect billing? Happy to give details over PM. Edit: CEO's complaints team has dealt with it. 6 mins on the phone with a pleasant person & credit and cancellation acknowledged. Re: Old Bills Hey thanks for responding! The email notification went into Spam so sorry for late response. I need all bills from Feb 22 to Nov 23, you'd be a life saver if you could get them! Its' all my Virgin Media Mobile bills. Old Bills Hi, For my employer I need a copy of my previous bills from virgin media mobile. The o2 platform only has bills going back approx 6 months. Does anyone know the address of the old portal so I can pull the bills myself or how I can go about doing this? Thanks, Re: Hub 5: Our first ever WiFi 6 broadband router Thanks for the advice on using WhatsApp here. I got my Hub5 promised to me as part of a renewal of Gig1 for £26 as I had signed up for Community Fibre (still going ahead with community fiber as I like having two connections due to working from home). The sales agent was pretty useless at getting me a Hub5 despite the Community Fiber service providing Linksys Velop WiFi6 mesh system but thankfully the chap on WhatsApp got it - got I'd been provided an agressive renewal and ordered the Hub5 immediately.
