Volt speed

Hello,

I have recently purchased an O2 product that qualifies for a broadband increase from M250 to M350. I can see it reflected in my package but when I run a speed test it is still running at M250?

It can take up to 14 days for VM to update your account with VOLT.

Keep checking the conf settings on the Hub. It will show what speed has been provisioned.
It's Configuration tab - Primary Downstream Service Flow - Max Traffic Rate.

Thanks,

is that in settings?

Hi there @vander18

Thank you so much for your post and welcome back to the community forums.

I am so sorry that you have faced an issue with your service, I have had a look and can see no issues on our side and the speed should be over 350mpbs to the Hub. Have you been able to run any checks on any wired devices you may have?

Thank you it’s fixed now.

Hi,

I have the same situation (mine is a FTTP with a Hub 5x ). Customer service confirm that the speed boost has been applied, the package details in the SamKnows speed test show 350x35, but I'm still getting M250 speeds.

How did you get yours resolved?

Hi GlynF1,

Thanks for joining this thread about Volt Speed Boost! Sorry you're having some issues with your speed upgrade.

As Adduxi mentioned, it can take up to 14 days for the boost to fully process, with that in mind can I ask when you ordered your boost please?

Thanks,

Megan

In the same boat, could anyone from the forum team take a look for me?😀

Hi Megan_L,

I applied for Volt straight after install on 13th April. The O2 side all went through OK and was active by 18th April.
Various customer service/support team members have said that the Volt boost is showing as active on my account, but there has been no speed increase.
I had an engineer visit yesterday to look into it - he also said that all the systems he could see showed the boost had been applied - but despite short and long pinhole resets on the Hub 5x, the speed still hasn't increased. He enquired with some senior engineers, but no solution was found.
I'm not really sure where to go from here.

Thanks for coming back to me GlynF1!

And thank you for going into that little extra detail about your journey as well, that really helps.

I know another route we could take, it's filling in a form which goes to a dedicated Boost Benefits Team - I'd really like to do this for you next 🤗
I'll need to bring you into a Private Message as we've got some questions to go through, but hopefully it will work!

Speak to you soon.
