Mis-sold a Virgin Media deal with a ‘free’ O2 sim. \

Hi I hope someone can help as i really am at my end trying to speak to anyone with Virgin, O2, or even at the O2 shops.  Over 12 months ago i jumped from a complete SKY package to VIRGIN media.  It appeared a much better deal. During the process of signing up i was informed of a free O2 sim with the package.  I had seen adverts with this included but informed the agents that we didn’t really need that as i was already with O2, and the others in the family had different mobile contracts.  I thought no more of this.  Virgin sent the contract, the price details, technician for installing and everything went pretty well.  The usual info arrived later through the post.  Virgin Media was being D/D from my account as agreed, and price was ok.  Earlier this year, 2024, when reviewing family bank accounts i picked up on a £25 per month O2 d/d.  I checked on my O2 app for my current mobile and no info was present.  I checked with Virgin app, online, and call - numerous times but no info corresponded.  I contacted my bank, that informed me of the ref and GED etc. O2.  O2 denied everything as did Virgin. Finally I spoke to someone in Virgin/O2 that informed of the misspelling of the free O2 sim.  I was informed that I would be reimbursed and this D/D stopped.  A month later I received a cheque for less than £12 and not the £250 already paid out for no SIM use, contract or info.

Frustrated i have phoned numerous times again only to be put on hold.  Can anyone really help?
