v6 box hung on starting up message - flashing light

My v6 box has hung on the "Starting Up" message. The light on the on button is also flashing. I've tried rebooting a number of times, etc. Its been taking longer and longer to start up for some time now, however we also had a power cut on Friday so I'm wondering if that made things worse?

Can this be looked at please?

Any TV box that won't bootup has a fault, and should be reported - with a view to a tech visit.

As a last throw of the dice, try the following.. Try turning off the V6 at switch; then on the V6 box hold down both the power button and the +button at the same time. Then turn on the V6 again whilst keeping hold of those buttons for a further 30 seconds. The box should reboot, the power button should turn blue, and it should reset and boot up normally.

Thanks - I sort of thought this would have to happen. However, I can't seem to get through the diagnostics screens, so I was hoping a moderator could pick it up at some point.
