He then came back and said these boxes can not connect to each other, even though they have been connecting for years. He offered no other help. I have done all the resets and checks.
Both boxes can 'see' each other but I get the message about not being in my account. Very frustrating.
Do you have the TV Control app installed on any phones or tablets?
Open the app & tap on the “Settings” cog.
Go down to “Streaming & Downloading” & select “System Info”. This should come up with the serial numbers of the two boxes on your network. If they are there, try the next option in the menu, “Start Setup”.
The other option is a complete reset. Turn everything off for a few minutes. Restart your VM Hub & give it several minutes to stabilise. Then turn on your TV boxes & give them a good 10 minutes to re-establish connections. Then try inter-box streaming again.
