What are the issues you're having with your TV pictures, specifically? You've posted in the V6 section of the forum, but live TV on this box doesn't use the internet.

Your post can be moved to the broadband section of the forum if that's where your issues lie.

hi I posted here as I have a V6 box

sadly the 360 box doesn’t have IR remotes so can’t use writhin my syatem

the picture is still pixelating not as bad but not right

ironically the broadband is still showing red in sections always been the same if the circuit drops the tv eventually goes

I don’t use the broadband as it’s too unstable- use BT FTTP perfect 👍

I only queried, because BQM's have limited diagnostic value in a TV issue unless complete loss of picture (with signal-related error codes) was coinciding with broadband drops. And quite a few users wrongly assume live TV uses the internet.

Pixellation is usually a signal issue, but if it's coinciding with issues showing on your BQM, there's a good chance the problem is common & external. Just make sure you've rebooted the V6 once, to rule out a SW issue.

If it's every channel then it's almost certainly a cable problem before your splitter as it's affecting your broadband as well.

Have you actually spoken to anyone in support or just by email.

You can call Virgin on 150 from a Virgin phone, mobile or landline, or 0345 454 1111 from any other phone to report a fault, or wait here for one of the forum team to pick this up which might be 2 to 3 day's.

When phoning choose the option to report a fault, then ignore all the options offered and you should then be placed into a queue to speak to someone.

You can buy an IR remote such as Flipper.

Hey biggm68,

Welcome back to the community and thanks for taking the time to post. I’m sorry to hear of the issues that you’re having with your TV picture at the moment.

I have looked further into this and can see that there is an issue with your downstream channels, the power levels are too high on some of the channels and you also have issues with missing upstream channels. We would need to send out an engineer to get this looked into further. I can arrange the appointment from here but would need to confirm a few details via a private message, that I will drop over in a moment. Please look out for the private message and we can get started.
Kind Regards,
