When ever we use on demand to watch tv shows we are getting a constant spinning purple circle. The show plays fine with no buffing at all, my vrgin box is connected to the hub wired.
We have fully reset box multiple times and reset the hub as well.

That buffering circle is usually associated with the VoD feed from VM's end "handshaking" with your box, and disappears after a couple of seconds. On the rare occasion I've seen the same as you describe - i.e it not disappearing - stopping the programme and restarting it usually resolves.
