Can you still get new V6 installations?

We have decided to upgrade from a single TiVo box to a newer box, and also get a second box in a bedroom. Both rooms have coaxial cable, and reading about how the V6 and 360 boxes work, I think that a pair of V6 boxes would be the best bet.

Thing is, can you still get new V6 boxes like that? Or will we be forced to get 360 instead? I don't want the master/slave arrangement of 360 since the living room will be on a relatively weak wi-fi connection.

As I mentioned on the other topic

It really is better to keep all your posts on one topic in the same place. Your two threads have now been combined together.

If both the locations have co-ax feeds, you're halfway there. All you need is either an Ethernet (ideally) or a reliable wireless connection for the online/internet-based functions.

V6 vs TV360 has been done to death on numerous other threads, but as a headline view - if you primarily record and the lack of Disney/Paramount apps doesn't bother you, then V6 will almost certainly be a better choice. If you use VoD a lot, want the newer streaming apps, and/or am happy with an "online-first" approach to TV, then TV360 may suit.
