Can't order a replacement remote control

The remote for our main living room box is broken and no longer works. I tried to order a replacement online and keep getting "Sorry, there was an issue placing your order"

The chat with us online button on the page doesn't work and it tells me to call 150. When I call 150 and select remote problems it tells me to go to the website and hangs up on me. Since the website doen't work I'm left in a loop of it telling me to go to 150 and then 150 telling me to go back to the website.

This box is used by a 79 year old who will have difficulty using the TVControl app to control the box, but since I can't talk to anyone to get a replacement I don't know what I can do to help him.

When phoning choose the option to report a fault, then ignore all the options offered and you should then be placed into a queue to speak to someone, or wait here for one of the forum team to pick this up which might be 2 to 3 day's.

 

Sadly that doesn't work, it gives me 6 options to choose and if I wait it just repeats over and over, it doesn't go to a queue
