Virgin TV screen flashing colours

Hello,

we’ve had this for 2 days now, I’ve tried restarting everything, unplugging every cable and replugging it, went through video settings and nothing. The screen is constantly flashing multiple colours no matter if it’s a recording, live tv or anything. Only time it does not flash is if it’s an app like Netflix. It definitely isn’t my tv as, you can see in the second picture, the flashing only happens on the media. has anyone experienced this? Any solutions would be great. Thanks

If multiple video sources are affected, that tends to point at a fault on the HDMI chain somewhere. That would affect live TV, OnDemand, streaming, recordings, the lot.

Have you ruled out both the HDMI lead and the port on your TV, by trying others?

I'm so sorry to hear of your TV picture quality issues recently. As @japitts has suggested, it's possible that this is down to the HDMI connection. Have you tried replacing the HDMI cable yet to see if that helps at all?
