I have recently cancelled my broadband and TV deal with VM with the provided termination date of 05/08/24.
As I am in the process of arranging for works to be carried out both externally and internally I would like my property returned to the state it was before I had the service was installed 18 months ago.
My question is- how do I arrange for all cabling along with the removal of both internal and large external box next to my front door (which will cause issues when having driveway paving installed)?
Regards

VM aren't likely to do it so just remove it yourself.
No high voltages in the cabling.

VM generally take the view that removal of cabling & other kit, creates a hindrance to any future install and thus won't expend money on it unless there's a demonstrable health & safety issue.

You can ask for it to be removed, but after a long delay nothing will happen. So you might as well take it out yourself when you are ready.
It has been said that if you remove it then VM will be less likely to connect a future customer at that house, but I've never seen it reported here that a connection has been refused on that basis.
In any case, network upgrade plans by VM may very well mean that those existing cables would need replacing for a future user.
