Recordings won't delete

I am fairly certain the only solution is a replacement box, which I have already done once recently after another issue (obviously the 360 box is not a great piece of software) but the twitter VM still suggest I post here so apologies if this is a waste of everyone's time as I suspect.

The issue is that some recordings won't delete from the visible recordings. So far two different group recordings, which keep getting larger every time a new episode is on, will not stop displaying.

I have tried deleting them as a group, individually, done soft resets and this morning done a complete formatting of the disk but still they are listed.

I can't think of anything else to do as the factory reset formatting the drive and wiping all settings I thought surely had to work.

Any suggestions aside from the obvious calling to get a replacement box would be greatly appreciated.

Hi charscot,

I assume the recordings won't play and all you are seeing are the programme titles, this will be because that info is held on Virgin's server and is the way the 360's software works, the info should be deleted at the same when you press delete.

You might be able to delete this info using the TVGO app, if you haven't tried the app give it a go and see if it works for you. 🤞

Yep, I tried the app the other day. Sadly no luck that way either.

So this morning I wake up to find the recordings that wouldn't delete have finally gone.

No idea how as there has been no update and they were still showing when I went to sleep last night but somehow they have finally gone despite not doing anything at my end.

Thank you for reaching back out and for the update, glad to hear the recordings have now deleted, very strange, sounds like there was some kind of delay, if you do have any further issues please reach back out, there are some great help and support around TV issues here if needed moving forward.
