Recent V6 box 360 upgrade.Series link recordings disappearing

Recently upgraded my old V6 box to the 360 interface with new remote. However, the boxes when recording a series link i.e classic coronation street, Vietnam war series over Christmas  (2 examples), appear to self delete the previous recorded episodes and do not show in recordings..This happens even when not watched.

I have looked in both settings and manage recording tabs yet nothing appears to display why this is happening. Both boxes worked fine before the upgrade. Could it be software/technical issue with the boxes is my question. .Any help appreciated.Thanks.

Hi mupps,

I would try turning off the "Ask to delete option" as a starting point,

Press Home > Recordings > Recorded > View All > Manage Storage > Enter your pin > Ask to delete after watching > Set to Off.

and also the "Auto delete option" to off, I think the default is off,

Press Home > Recordings > Recorded > View All > Manage Storage > Enter your pin > Auto delete when space needed > Set to Off.

Thanks for the reply. I have done this, and boxes are set as you mentioned. As said, wondering if other users have encountered upgrade/software issue causing this.Thanks.

Hi,

I have also been experiencing this issue. We done the software upgrade on our two v6 boxes to become 360s but since roughly christmas time we have had same issue. Seen on another thread about maybe needing new boxes as inside components could be wearing out? 

If all your recordings and series link's are disappearing then that is a sign of a faulty box.
