Recordings disappeared this morning

Had a few issues over the last couple of nights watching recordings on my iPad, saying that I needed to be connected to my home network (which I was) not a massive issue. This morning the box wouldn’t switch on, so after switching off at the wall and switching back on again, it rebooted successfully but all my recordings and planned recordings have now disappeared. Any idea why this has happened?
I have a 360 box

  • If the 360 has deleted your recordings and planned recordings it's a sign that the box is faulty, especially if it does it more than once. You can either call Virgin on 150 from a Virgin phone, mobile or landline, or 0345 454 1111 from any other phone to report a fault, or wait here for one of the forum team to pick this up which might be 2 to 3 day's.

    You could also try a factory reset of the 360, and if you haven't got any recordings you might as well go for the format disk option and if or 'when' the box deletes everything again then phone Virgin.

    They might suggest you set the Auto delete option to off, it probably already is and shouldn't affect planned recordings but you can check by doing the following;

    Press Home > Recordings > Recorded > View All > Manage Storage > Enter your pin > Auto delete when space needed > Set to Off.

    Welcome to the Community and thanks for taking the time to post here on the forums. I’m sorry to hear of the issues that you’re having with your TV box at the moment. 

    I'd be happy to get this looked into further however, please could you confirm if you've checked if Auto Delete function has been turned off as per Roy247's advice?

      Yes it is switched off. Having issues again tonight trying to watch recordings on the app. Won’t let me watch anything and says I need to be connected to my home network which I am. Not sure what’s going on but I fear I will lose them again at some point
