Received 360 remote but no option to upgrade

I’ve had the remote for two days but neither the bottom upgrade menu item on the home page or the upgrade app in the apps folder exist.

I’ve rebooted, refreshed channel list and reconnected to the virgin network, nothing seems to summon a way to upgrade.

Are there any other tricks to conjure up a magic upgrade app?

It will give you chance to watch any recordings you haven't watched and to make a note of any series links, if you still haven't received the update option after I would say 5 days when it should automatically update then you probably need to call Virgin again because someone might not have pressed all the right buttons.
