Anyway of disabling the notification that tells me I can use the virgin remote with my TV? It's driving me insane when trying to watch TV. I can't find the settings in the menus to disable it. I get the notification every 30 seconds or so. I even tryed to remove the batteries but it still flashes up.

This forum is my last option before I cancel my contract

There is no option to turn it off, it's a HDMI handshaking issue between the box and TV. I assume you have paired the 360 remote to the TV and it said the pairing was successful, you could try turning off HDMI control on your TV to see if the message stops.

It's a Samsung TV, absolutely gutted about it as it males the 360 box unusable and now really I have no other option but to cancel my contract which I can see is going to be an absolute nightmare 😞

If you try turning off HDMI control on your TV, Samsung call it Anynet+ to see if that stops the message.

If that fixes the problem you can get a 'CEC Less' adaptor from Amazon  🤞
