Move 360 mini box to another room

Justabod
On our wavelength

Hello All,

We have swapped bedrooms and need to get the 360 mini box moved to the new bedroom. I've called CS but they didn't seem to understand what I wanted or how to help me.

Can anyone advise what terms I should use to get this booked in please or if there is an alternative way to get this booked in? I know there will be a charge but my experience with VM CS was so frustrating, perhaps the agent was having a bad day.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Hi @Justabod

There would be a £25 non fault call out charge (it used to be £99) to do the work you require.

You would need to speak to faults (option 2 when dialling 150 from  a VM landline or 0345 454 1111 from any other phone.

When calling Faults ignore all the options and don't press any buttons then you should be placed into a queue and an agent should pick up the phone and book the tech for you.

Just advise them that you've moved the 360 box to another room and you need a new coaxial point placing in the new location.

Or wait a day or two and a member of the Forum Team should pick this up for you and arrange a tech visit.

EDIT - Just to add, providing you can connect the 360 box to the VM internet in the new bedroom then you shouold still be able to watch on demand/catch up and apps prior to getting the coaxial point installed for the live TV.  In the meantime you could record a program on the main working box and then watch it via recordings (so it's not quiet live) in the new bedroom.

Hi,

Please are you able to assist with moving a tivo box or 360 mini box moved to a new bedroom.

Been told a coaxial point needs to be installed in the new bedroom.

Thanking you in advance.
