How do I access Sky sports SD?

I only see HD channels, but want to record SD.  How can I do this?

You've hit on another of the differences between V6 & TV360.

TV360 employs an HD-swap, whereby it only offers the HD version of a channel where available. If you subscribe to Sky Sports HD, then those channels are available in EPG 501-510 (plus 520 for tennis).

If you don't, then those same EPG positions carry the SD versions.

Note that the switch from MPEG-2 to MPEG-4 a few years ago means, amongst other things, that recordings take up less space than before.

If you are subscribed to Sky Sports HD you will not be able to see Sky Sports SD channels with the 360 all SD channels get replaced by the HD versions if included in your package.

Edited to say maybe it's because I am in Greece but when I looked it said it said you hadn't had any replies.

I can't watch Sky Sports HD when it is pixelated

I did. But why can’t I access Sky Sports SD in the same way I did previously when there was a fault with HD?

I am so sorry that you have faced an issue with your service and thank you so much again for posting. We were aware of some issues last week effecting the Sports channels, can I ask how things are looking for you since your post? Is the HD channel still showing pixelation?

@Ashleigh_C not pixelated anymore but this has happened to me on a number of occasions previously.  I made posts on two occasion it occurred in last 12 months, see below.   In the past I could switch to SD.  However that is no longer possible due to the bonkers 360.

If the pixelation reoccurs on the Sky Sports HD channels, please let us know as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, there's nothing we can do about the fact that you can't access the Sky Sports SD channels while you're subscribed to Sky Sports HD.

However, we always take on board feedback we receive and will certainly pass your thoughts along to the relevant teams.
