I have just gotten home from work today to find all of my recordings and planned recordings have vanished from my 360 box. I have tried turning the box off and on again, and no luck.
There is no error message, just "you have no recordings".
I am gutted, I had built up a good collection of movies on my recordings! 😞
Please can somebody from Virgin Media get back to me as other posts about this suggest I have a faulty box.....

Hi Pomroy112
Thanks for your post and welcome back to our community.
We're sorry to hear your recordings have been lost.
Is there anything showing on your recently deleted? If so, you can recover these by following these steps ; Press My Shows on your Virgin TV remote, select Recently Deleted, choose the name of the programme you want to undelete, and select Recover this Show.
Please check the auto deleted option by following these steps ; Press Home > Recordings > Recorded > View All > Manage Storage > Enter your pin > Auto delete when space needed > Set to Off.
If this is already set to off, please let us know.
Please pop back to us when you can.

Uhm, the 360 box does not have a recently deleted folder and deleted recordings cannot be recovered (unlike the V6\TiVo box), it is one of the many ways it is inferior to the V6 box. The V6 box also seems less likely to randomly delete all your recordings and series links, which seems to be a common occurrence on the 360.
For the original poster, I'm afraid it's tough luck, the recordings are not retrievable, it may be worth trying to get the box replaced as I have heard some suggestion that this is a fault related to the box (especially ones that were converted from V6s) but I'm not sure if that is correct or whether it is a more general issue.
