360 Box not working

Hi everyone

I have a Virgin 360 box and today it hasn’t been working. The led goes solid amber for about 20 seconds then starts flashing amber for 10 seconds then goes red and the red arrows appear and the red light then fades in and out for about 5 seconds then the red light goes solid for about 3 seconds then it goes back to solid amber and repeats. On the TV it just shuffled between a welcome screen and a download icon. I have tried to restart it but nothing is working. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi ceddes 

Try the following, it's worked for some forum members.

Turn off the 360 at switch;  then on the 360 box  hold down both the power button and the + button at the same time.

Then turn on the 360 again whilst keeping hold of those buttons for a further 30 seconds. The box should reboot, and it should reset and boot up normally as a 360.  If that fails then try holding the - (minus) button instead of the + button.
