No sound and pixellation on channels

I have exactly the same problem with more or less the same channels, just started today. Ironically I've literally today just re-contracted for another 18 months so I did wonder if there was a link, but now you have the same issue. The fault is no sound and pixellation on SSN HD, SS Mix, TNT 3 and 4 and a few other random channels that I never watch.

Old time shift recordings still seem to work fine so don't think it's the box (even though it's an ancient 500 mb Tivo}

That may be so, but it's better to start your own thread rather than add onto someone else's. That's now been done for you, including your post being in the TiVo section rather than TV360.

Pixellated pictures on live TV are often the sign of a signal fault. If you've rebooted your box once, then there's likely a fault somewhere, so this will need VM to intervene. You're likely to need either an engineer visit or a replacement box, depending on what VM's remote diagnostics turn up. Faulty TiVo's are now replaced with V6 as a matter of course.

First check the automated faults line for any existing issues in your area that could be the cause: 0800 5610061. If nothing's reported, assume VM don't know about your fault and ideally you'll need to call them.

150 from a VM phone, 0345 4541111 from any other phone - choose the options for "I have a fault with my TV service". Alternatively you can wait on here for staff to respond, which may take a day or so.

r own new post. It's been done for you now, including yours being moved to the TiVo section rather than TV360.

I was merely answering the OP's question, "has anybody else had this issue". Didn't even notice it was the TV360 section but to me it sounds like a VM issue bearing in mind several people have mentioned it in different threads,.

Pixellation is how digital TV platforms handle poor signal, so it's natural that multiple users could have the same issue - it doesn't mean their faults are the same.

As per my post, if you've rebooted your TiVo once and symptoms persistent, then the fault is likely to be on VM's kit or cabling somewhere. But downstream of the active power cab, much of this is customer-specific.

As it happens i'm in Leeds as well, as is somebody else on a different thread with the same channels affected.

Also in Leeds as I posted in another thread and have also seen one mentioning Udrama having been he issue so checked that channel and the picture break up sound issues are present on there also. Sounds to me like a VM problem as there are several folks reporting the same issues fingers crossed they get there fingers out and sort it

Fix estimate 9 pm.

Hi @daveeb

Thank you so much for your post and welcome back to the forums, it's great to have you here.

We do typically advise that if you are facing an issue with service you create your own thread so that we can look into your specific issues individually with you without losing the original posters thread. It's just to ensure all the faults experienced get addressed and no one is left behind.

I can see there was an outage in Leeds effecting TV services, but this has since been resolved.

How are things looking since your last post?

Hi Ashleigh. Initially I wasn't conciously intending to report the issue, just answering somebody elses question, although I can see how it came across as such so apologies for any confusion. In any case my issue resolved fine after VM reported it fixed,  VM then reported an engineer was attending the issue again some hours later (same fault reference) which was subsequently also fixed but I didn't have a recurrence of the problem myself.
