Netflix not working

We subscribe separately from Virgin for Netflix but as of today, it no longer works on the TiVo box

We have 3 V6 boxes where it works like it always did

Anyone know what's happened?

Hi @Jonesey

You should have received either a letter or email (picture below) around the end of September advising of the need to swap out your box if you wanted to continue watching netflix.

You can either regrade online via the following link https://www.virginmedia.com/tvupgrades  or wait a day or two for a member of the forum team to pick this up for you. (It might be longer with it being a weekend)

Thanks for that.

So reading through the utter minefield of packages & devices last night, there appears to be no way whatsoever that we can watch Netflix on a fourth TV.

The best Virgin can offer is a main TV360 box and (up to) 2 mini boxes.

Why do we seem to be going backwards? It's 2024 for pity's sake.

No wonder so many people resort to illegal streaming.

How very disappointing.

Hi @Jonesey, thank you for your posts.

We're sorry to hear you feel this way 😔 We always take on board feedback we receive and will certainly pass this along to the relevant teams.

If you require any assistance in terms of swapping your boxes to TV 360, please let us know.

Thank you for your support @newapollo 👍

Daniel

If you're reading VM's new-customer offers, these will be solely offering TV360 packages which are fundamentally different to the TiVo/V6 solution you currently have.

Historically there was a TiVo-platform limit of 3 x V6 plus 1 x TiVo. The TiVo's no longer support Netflix. There would be no gain in swapping to TV360 in your case, unless you'd compared the differences between TiVo/V6 & TV360, and wanted to convert.
