Hey, I can’t get my TiVo remote to pair. It says to hold down clear and tv. But it’s flashing red not green. Can someone advise please

You are following the reset process, hence the light turns green - after that you should follow the pairing process

RESET
To reset the remote simply follow the below steps. If you need help on how to reset your TV after this then take a look at our How to reset TV article.
Step 1 Hold the TV and Clear buttons together until the light at the top of the remote flashes green twice
Step 2 Press the thumbs down button 3 times
PAIR
How to pair the Virgin TV remote to the box How to pair TV V6 & Virgin TiVo box remote to the boxHold the minus button on the front of your V6 box down for 10 seconds.
The white power light on the box will go off as you’re holding the button, once the power light comes back on the box is ready for paring.
Now hold the Info button on the remote down for 7 seconds. The light on the remote should flash green twice
Confirm the paring by holding the plus button on the front of the V6 box down until the remote starts beeping. The remote and V6 box should now be paired.
Note: The V6 can also be paired with the remote by accessing the following options and following the on screen instructions:

Hi I am having the same problem
Trying to pair my remote to my V6 box but done everything instead of a green flashing light I just get a red flash
My box was replaced a few months ago as it had developed a fault the engineer installed a new box but never reset the remote
Now I need to activate RF mode it's saying no remote paired
I have tried everything to pair it and now I'm stuck any help appreciated

Hi yes I went through your help pages and they have decided to send me a replacement remote control. Just waiting on its arrival to try
