BBC iPlayer plus vivo box or modem

Hi, I've been having a load of problems with my tv box the Wi-Fi dropping off at least four times a day, not accepting the password when trying reset, not being able to connect to virgin media, now I'm unable to connect to the BBC iPlayer, I get a warning screen saying something about a security certificate and unable to choose to go to the site anyways.

I know my equipment must be getting old and I keep trying everything else so it must be the equipment.

Do you have a TiVo or a V6?

I have Tivo  , like I say I'm always having trouble with the internet dropping off  , the box unable to connect to virgin  , I see theres plenty posts about the security  alert with iplayer   but nothing from virgin to inform us what the problem and the fix is

The security certificate issue was raised as a fault ref: F011194787 but has now been fixed

TiVo's don't have WiFi - they use a separate in-built internet connection.

Well something is  still up with the box or modem  , I saw it myself  by reconnecting  and putting my password back and it connected then within seconds  internet connection dropped

I can spend the best part of a hour faffing about  and end up just going  to bed before I smash the bloody thing up  lol

Is there no Virgin Media staff reading this board ??

So where on your TiVo are you reconnecting and putting your password back in? Perhaps post up a photo.

I'm putting them in settings - network  - change network settings - connect to virgin media devices

You've confirmed previously in this thread that you have a TiVo and not a V6. The TiVo doesn't have WiFi.

Please check the link in my post#5 above and look at the pictures of the boxes on that page - I think you have a V6 and not a TiVo, please confirm.

I'm also not entirely convinced you're putting the wireless password in the right screen, but let's check one thing at a time.
