My Virgin Media TVGO app allows me to watch recorded programmes on iPad but not on iPhone. Virgin support say that the viewing recorded programmes facility has been discontinued and that my iPad has not had the update yet. If this is correct then it’s a backward step

No, it has not been discontinued. Make sure you are trying to view while connected to your home Wi-Fi network. If you are connected to mobile data it won't work.

I can watch downloaded programs via my iPad but not my iPhone. Customer service that soon I will not be able to watch downloaded programs on any external device other than my TV. They state that my iPad hasn’t been updated so far but will be as this facility is being completely removed. Seems like a retrograde step if true.

Now cannot watch on iPad either. Get an error message either to switch on the Virgin Box(it is on) or check that iPad is on same network as the box which it is. If the facility is now no longer being provided then surely it should state this and not generate wrong fault messages

Hi @MightyQ
Thanks for posting and welcome back to the community.
Apologies for the TV Go issues.
Are you connected to your home network when trying to watch these programs?
