TV Control App not signing in

FishnetChicken
Tuning in

seems like this is a common issue, but I'm unable to sign in to the TV Control app and keep being met with "Login error" Try again or Return to sign in. Steps taken:

reset password

cleared phone cache

uninstalling/reinstalling app

App version - 4.9.0-1461947

Android version - 13 TKQ1.221114.001

Xiaomi Poco F3

Also have a Samsung S6 running Android v14 - same issue

I'm successfully signed into other VM apps on the phone & ablet, such as TV Go

Please advise, thanks

Hi @FishnetChicken

Do you still have two V6 boxes, or have you migrated them to the TV360?

If you do now have the 360 boxes then the TV Control app won't work. All of the functions from that app are now included in the updated TVGo app.

ahaa! This would be the answer, I hadn' even thought of checking the TVGo app for the remote options - but yes I can see both of my devices on there so I guess I must have TV360 boxes then.

Thanks for the useful information 👍
