How do i access my virgin media box and my recordings when i'm away?

Hi folks

i used to be able to access and play my recordings through my laptop or phone when i was working away from home but i can't seem to find out how.

any suggestions as i'm away for work again tomorrow

Neither TV Go nor TV Control has ever offered viewing of recordings whilst away from home.

What TV Control does allow for, with a TiVo/V6, is in-home downloading & streaming of recordings. And if you download, you can usually then view offline.

TV Go - with a TV360 - allows in-home streaming.

I have a V6 box and am away this weekend and would not mind watching recording in the evening, rather the waiting until I am back next week.

Assuming the V6 has made the recording on Saturday, how do I watch it on Sunday at the other end of the country ?

As per my previous post, you can download the programme to your mobile device (channel-dependent) whilst at home, and then (channel-dependent) watch the recording whilst away from home.

You need to be at home in the first instance. Your other option is to see if the programme is available for mobile-streaming via TV Go.

understood, no use to me as the recordings will happen when I am away, will have to wait for catchup
