Voice over won’t turn off it’s on itv1 + 1 virgin stream. I’ve been through settings and accessibility, audio description is off and voice over guidance is turned off but I turned them both on and off to make sure and I’ve turned them off using the microphone on the remote (even though they are off and I have never turned them on) it’s ruining any programme I watch as it’s loud and is describing things or actions on the screen, has anyone found a fix?

So I’ve turned to ITV and pressed the button with the three dots and the menu you mentioned is on that channel, on audio it was on English Dolby and there were 2 options English Stereo and AD - Stereo I’ve moved that to English stereo in case it would filter through to other channels and I’ve gone back to ITV 1 + 1 but it’s not affected it.

This is a few months old topic, so this might not be of use.
I've recently signed up to virgin and although I don't get this issue on the TV box, I do get it on the TVgo app.
So far I've only noticed on Channel 4; however after trying a number of things, I turned the AD setting on (and left it on, not just on and off again) and for the affected programme the audio description stopped playing.
This isn't a fix, as obviously you have to turn on off again after the program etc, but I think this confirms there definitely is an issue with virgin settings somewhere in the back end.. because the toggle works, it's just reversed for some channels/programs

Thank you I’ve not watched ITV2 on Virgin for a while as I’ve got it on Freeview but I’ll definitely give you recommendation a try
