Upload only 249Kbps (should be 25Mbps)

Dire upload speeds all day today. Downloads are fine, but Virgin's speed test tool shows:

  • Latency 150ms
  • Jitter 184ms
  • Download 276Mbps
  • Upload 249Kbps

The upload is a mere 1/100 of the 25Mbps rate promised in my package.

Jitter is apparently appalling, and latency is very poor too.

I have no idea how long it has been this slow, as I only checked today.

How do I get this fixed?

I have done a hard reset on the Hub3 several times during the day, but that has not made any difference.

My own reported outage is the only thing showing.

The large latency & jitter figures look like a test over WI-Fi.

We need to see the full set of stats for the VM Hub and the performance your device achieves.

Please post a screen shot of the RUN FULL TEST from

How to get stats from a VM hub (no need to logon to the hub)

Open a web browser and go to 192.168.0.1 router mode or 192.168.100.1 modem mode

  • Click on the “> Check router status” button
  • Click on the “Downstream” tab, copy the text and paste into your reply, do not take a screen shot
  • Click on the “Upstream” tab, copy the text and paste into your reply
  • Click on the “Networking” tab, copy the text and paste into your reply.
    • Do NOT post photos or screen shots they will be rejected as they contain MAC addresses. The board software will automatically change MAC addresses to **:** if done as above.

NB - these are from my desktop, and therefore hardwired as there is no WiFi on the machine.
