I'm on a Gig1 subscription but only getting around 40 Mbps download speeds. Confirmed via Samknows and Virgin checker says it's a "intermittent" issue. Anything I can do or do I have to try and get a technician?
Edit: This is after resetting the router, with only my desktop connected via Ethernet cable.

I'm having this exact same problem like identical speeds pretty much.
Activated new hub 5 router on Tuesday and called them on Wednesday and pretty much just said give it time to kick in. Well now its Friday and nothing has changed.
